Why UK?
I chose UK because it has all the benefits of training at a large academic center while having the feel of a close-knit community. There is exposure to the different subspecialties within the field of OB/GYN and the opportunity to provide patient care to a diverse population. The faculty are approachable and work closely with the residents, providing education and mentorship. I knew residency at UK would provide the training to be a proficient generalist upon graduation.
