I am originally from Midland Michigan and I attended Central Michigan University studying biomedical sciences and neuroscience. After graduating, I remained at Central Michigan for my masters in neuroscience researching spinal cord injury. I chose to attend the University of Kentucky MD/PhD program for two main reasons. First, during the interview process everyone was incredibly supportive and friendly.
Additionally, I could continue to pursue my interest in spinal cord injury at the Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Center.
